Literature Text
You were alone from the start,
But you didn't care back then.
You were special.
So special that no one could understand you.
But that was special too.
No one could reach you in your bubble.
Then the others came.
They were more special.
You pulled away.
While being surrounded you felt so alone.
Until you were really alone.
And no one could understand you.
Not even you.
You tried to change.
But the bubble was strong.
You kicked and screamed, but no one noticed.
That was what the bubble was for.
Then came the time when they pushed you away.
They couldn't have known you are different.
Are you different?
you drifted away,
They won't remember.
They won't remember what they never knew.
Did you know?
Who are you?
Why is it painful?
What is painful?
Why are you crying?
But you didn't care back then.
You were special.
So special that no one could understand you.
But that was special too.
No one could reach you in your bubble.

Remember the Angel?
Remember the angel that wiped your tears and made you brightly smile?
You always told her to let you be; you were always in denial.
Remember the angel that sang you to sleep and played with your hair?
You never cared to have her near you, though that smile was still there
Remember the angel that waited for you, the one who waited countless hours?
You never seemed to even notice, I guess that was your power
Remember the angel that saved your life, risking also her own?
You ran away and left her there, you left her there alone
Remember the angel that fell from heaven, only to be with you?
You marked her with your sin and made her feel

I'm Really Not Okay
When I whisper of my woes
How can anyone hear
When the din of their own lives
Is ringing in their ears
Forcing a smile as they glance
Frown as they look away
Please somebody turn around
I'm really not okay
You refuse to see the signs
A deluge of denial
Drowns out my facial features
The absence of a smile
Obliged to ask how I am
Your concerns I allay
But then again I would do
I'm really not okay
Hold back the transparent tears
A dam of repression
I'll be damned if anyone
Sees through my confession
Slowly my world unravels
Life's tapestry will fray
My pain has been tailor made
I'm really not okay
I write poems
Literature
I'm fine
Through soulless eyes people see
all too constantly watch the world
that they believe had nothing for them.
Tears form, but no one sees,
no person even bothers to look,
yet it isn't like they don't notice.
When someone finally looks
and actually sees for once
they utter those few words,
that can change so much.
Are you okay?
The tear stained face looks up
and knows it's been seen
with a blink though
the tears are gone.
I'm fine.
The voice breaks,
but it is overlooked
as nothing important.
"Stop! I'm not okay!"
The internal voice screams,
but the silent mental call
is heard by no one.
And the crying form
that so brok

I know It's not perfect.
I know some of you might not even call it poetry.
I just had to let my feelings out somehow,so I'm sorry if it would bother any of you.
*EDIT*
I didn't expect so many faves and comments, Thank you all so much !

This is really good and I can totally relate to it … The illustration is perfect for it too (at first I thought she was curled up in a coffin - not sure if that was your intention!) Keep writing!
